We calculate a snapshot of each stock where we combine multiple factors to generate a Trend Score. Each score ranges from zero (the worst) to six (the best). We look back and identify those stocks or ETFs whose Trend Score suggests they have been flatlined for the last week or so. Then we look for the ones whose Trend Score suddenly improved a significant amount. The amount of improvement is listed as the Total Score in the table below.
The ten stocks or ETFs with the highest total score become the ten best stocks of the day.Note: sometimes the fundamentals of these stocks aren't so great but if you are a trader perhaps you're OK with that!
